Ann-Marie Fumo

Ann-Marie Fumo grew up in New York and attended the State University of New York at Albany receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She worked as a Compensation Analyst for Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York before moving to the Maryland suburbs of Washington D.C. She settled in Cheshire, Connecticut with her family in 2003. After becoming a mother to two boys, Ann-Marie concentrated her energies on raising her children. She served as a volunteer in her son’s schools from elementary school through high school. Now, with two independent teenage boys, she has decided to dedicate herself to helping underprivileged children, which was her long-time dream. She is a staunch supporter of Distressed Children & Infants International and its mission to combat poverty, hunger, child labor, and preventable blindness. Ann-Marie is currently working as Office Coordinator and Assistant to DCI Executive Director, Dr. Ehsan Hoque.
