Saleh Kibria

Saleh-KibriaMr. Saleh M. Kibria was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh and received his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic University, Pomona. He was a member of the American Association of Bangladeshi Engineers and Architects (AABEA), served on the Southern California Chapter Executive Committee for the 2005-2006 term, was elected as the President-Elect for the 2007-2008 term, and served as the Chapter President for the 2009-2010 term.

Mr. Kibria is currently holding a position as a Transportation Engineer at California Department of Transportation (Caltrans). He has been actively involved with Distressed Children and Infants International (DCI) to promote child rights and improve the health and welfare of underprivileged children since 2007. He is a founding member and founding treasurer (2007) of Bangladesh Unity Federation of Los Angeles (BUFLA). He is also involved in many other community activities. Mr. Kibria lives in Los Angeles, California with his wife Amina Chowdhury and their two children Saika and Rumman.
