DCI Director Dr. Nina Hoque Visits Bangladesh Projects

Distressed Children & Infants International’s Director Dr. Nina Hoque arrived in Bangladesh on Tuesday evening, July 28th, for a two week visit to assess the progress and performance of DCI’s programs. During her visit, Dr. Hoque has met with DCI Goodwill Ambassador Babita Akhter, Patron Sabina Yasmin, DCI Country Director Professor A.K. Azad Khan, DCI Advisor Dr. Muhammad Abdul Mazid, and Vice-Chairperson and Executive Director of BRAC, Mushtaque Chowdhury, along with a number of other medical and academic professionals and NGO leaders.
Dr. Nina Hoque organized an eye screening camp and awareness camp for new mothers in Kallyanpur slum, Dhaka On August 1st, which was inaugurated by the legendary Bangladeshi singer Sabina Yasmin. Read more about the event here.

Dr. Nina Hoque is a Senior Scientist at Bristol-Myers Squibb and she has served as Honorary Director and Chairman of the Board of Distressed Children & Infants International since 2003.
