Executive Director of Distressed Children & Infants International (DCI) Dr. Ehsan Hoque has been invited as a Guest of Honor to address the 26th Annual convention of FOBANA (Federation of Bangladesh Association of North America), taking place from August 31st through September 2nd in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Hoque will be addressing the convention on the topic of “DCI’s Programs in Bangladesh and How US Youth Can Benefit from Getting Involved” at 7 pm on September 1st at the Fort Lauderdale Marina Hilton.

DCI invites all its sponsors, donors and friends to attend the 2012 FOBANA convention and listen to Dr. Hoque’s presentation. It will focus on how DCI is changing the lives of underprivileged children in Bangladesh and will also illustrate the lifelong benefits U.S. children are gaining by volunteering for DCI. You will have the opportunity to meet Dr. Hoque personally and ask any questions you might have about DCI’s work with children. You can also learn more about DCI’s work at the DCI Information Booth at this event.

During his stay in Fort Lauderdale, Dr. Hoque is also planning to meet DCI members and supporters from Florida and other parts of the USA. DCI sponsors and donors, those who wish to join DCI in its work, and those simply interested in child rights issues who would like to meet with Dr. Hoque during his visit are invited to contact our office at info@distressedchildren.org.

Please join us in our fight against poverty, child labor, and preventable blindness in Bangladesh. Dr. Ehsan Hoque and other DCI volunteers are available for interviews.
