Dr. Brian DeBroff Message

In the United States, there are many basic necessities of life that many of us take for granted, such as food, water, shelter, health, education, and family. Many children living in this country and many other countries of the world must live without these basic needs and others without the chance for education, healthcare, and the hope for a better future. Distressed Children & Infants International was founded to promote health and education of children around the world. Our particular emphasis presently is to help Bangladeshi children and orphans obtain food, education and medical treatment. We also are active in preventing childhood blindness and trying to establish mobile eye clinics to detect and treat congenital eye conditions. DCI’s Sun Child Sponsorship program is now in place and enable each of us to sponsor individual children to enable them to continue their education and become productive members of society. We are also active in other health initiatives for impoverished children. Our goal is not only to provide help and hope, but also to actively make a difference enabling disadvantaged youth to thrive, become educated, and have a productive future. There are too many children that do not receive the health care that they need and that are forced to labor for pennies a day even before they have reached the 3rd grade level. Any support that you can give would be so appreciated by these unfortunate children. Our society’s future success is dependent on your help. Please help us to make a difference and help these children who may never get a second chance.
