DCI & RSC Help Fire Affected People

Distressed Children & Infants International (DCI) and its implementing partner for Bangladesh, Rights, and Sight for Children (RSC) are working to help fire-affected people of Jheelpar Chalantika slum in Dhaka Mirpur area. The area comprises 500-600 shanties. The recent massive fire turned thousands of people homeless with nothing but charred valuables, and despair.
DCI Orphanage Program Director and Action Team Member, Dr. Sabina Ahmed visited the area and began the relief operation by distributing Saree, Lungi and mosquito nets for the most affected 50 families She said, “At DCI we are working for the people of Bangladesh and we stand behind them on every emergency. We will do our best to help the fire victims.”
