28th Annual Fall Festival

On Saturday, September 10th DCI participated in the 28th Annual Cheshire Fall Festival and Marketplace. At this fun-filled event, volunteers educated the local community on the continued mission of DCI to help underprivileged children. As people visited the booth volunteers spoke with them about what DCI is striving to achieve for local children as well as the children of Bangladesh. Many people liked DCI’s unique work with the motto, “Children Helping Children (helping underprivileged children of developing countries by involving American children),” involving local American children in all our activities and connecting them to less fortunate children in other countries, developing their leadership so that they come forward helping underprivileged children of other countries.
Many people showed an interest to get involved in DCI’s mission. The event was a great success under the leadership of Ann-Marie. DCI likes to thank the active volunteers, Gerard, Derek, Sam, Emily, Natalie, Nicholas, Drew, Sruthi, Cicily, Xiao, Kavin, Shivani, Paula and others who made the event a success.
